The Oukaïmeden resort

Only one hour away from Marrakech, the Oukaïmeden region is a heaven of unspool natural beauty. At 70 kms to the South-East of the ochre city and at an altitude of 2600 – 3720 meters, it is the highest ski resort in Africa.

The skiing area is also the best equipped in Morocco. The relatively small skiing area (300 ha) offers a wide range of slopes, for all levels of skiers: 3 black slopes, 8 red ones, 4 blue ones and 3 green slopes.

The mountains of the High Atlas await discovery with breathtaking landscapes, surreal rugged scenery, magnificent forests, flora and fauna. There are also pre-historic rock paintings and numerous Berber villages with fortified Kasbahs.
